Creative Physics Workshop (Studio)

Albedo Creative Platform is hosting the Creative Physics workshop by guests Steffen Klaue and Jan Vormann. The workshop aims at developing artistic ideas for kinetic and cybernetic installations around the notion of movement. Concepts and feasibility will be discussed, refined and professionally implemented. In addition to the conceptualization and crafting of the installation, the workshop experience includes tutorials on how to make interactive projects using Arduino, an open-source electronics platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software.

 
Arduino starter kits will be available at FABRIKA for 60$
 
Works produced during the workshop will be exhibited from September 27 to October 4.

Steffen Klaue is a Berlin based interactive designer, creative coder and visual artist. He has been involved in a number of art exhibitions, audio and visual. Over the past ten years, Steffen has been teaching to students in Berlin, Bremen, Halle, Milan, Venice, Lisbon and Zürich at various art schools.
 
 
Jan Vormann is an artist working across many media who’s project Dispatchwork has been broadly featured in the media. His sculptures and installations have been exhibited among others in Barcelona, Vienna, St. Petersburg, Amsterdam and Berlin.
 
 
Albedo Creative Platform is an interdisciplinary project initiated by Beirut Image Biennial (BIB) and Fabrika Production that takes the shape of workshops, exhibitions, screenings, campaigns, performances. Albedo Creative Platform aims to reflect on and question entrenched artistic and creative assumptions.
